Girl’s Empowerment for a Better World
Workshop Description
This program is for girls who want to learn about themselves and how to make a difference in the world.
A five day collaborative exploration, participants inquire into self-image, self-confidence, and our ability to make a difference – in our own lives and the lives of others. Girls gain a broader perspective about our health systems, cultural influences, and how change happens in society. Participants build self-esteem by connecting more deeply with nature and through realization that their own concerns are related to the concerns of the planet.
A highly interactive and experiential learning journey, this unique program encourages girls to explore and express their own authentic selves, their capacities and the pride of being a girl becoming a woman through the power of story and creative self expression. Reflection with nature encourages a felt sense of being a part of the natural world. A creative expression of their learning journey is shared in a celebration to complete the program.
